Our Story: Both my wife and I are 27 years old and have gone through financial hell and back. Now we are on track to financial freedom, however we are not financial advisors or professionals, just everyday people. Share our journey from a negative networth and email us if you have questions or comments! :)

I have left the building!

After 5 years (over 2 and 1/2 years in one department), I'm officially done with my job. My last day I was showered with a cake, balloon, stuffed animal and a fantastic card from my team! I know it has been unbearable and frustrating but I am looking forward to better things. I kicked off my celebration weekend by going to my grandmother in laws 75th birthday about 200 miles away. I visited with my in-laws and their families. I always have fun and some relatives are more down to earth than others. When I return home, I'm writing a plan of what to do with the rest of the month. My new job starts on the 23rd, so I will have some paid downtime, courtesy of my previous job. During which I will get some housework done, visit a couple cousins and spend some time with my elderly grandmother. (Hopefully gathering wisdom and maybe documenting some cultured recipes yummmm). Otherwise, budgeting our monthly expenses tomorrow and updating our networth.
